I am Monique Beerens-Rohof, an experienced HR professional, organisational advisor and coach. I coach and support managers and teams in the field of organisational and personal development. My conviction is that people are naturally creative, resourceful and complete and that they want to add value. The aim of my work is to help people and organisations become more aware of their own talents and potential. So that they then make targeted choices and take action to realise their objectives.

My background

After studying business administration at the Hogere Hotelschool in The Hague and further studies in Culture, Organisation and Management at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, I worked for years in HR management positions and as an HR consultant in profit and non-profit organisations. I have built up expertise in the field of strategic personnel policy, setting up organisations and developing organisations and employees. I have held various roles: HR manager, HR business partner, consultant, trainer and coach. Over the years, my interest in developing and coaching employees, both individually and in teams, has grown and I have also found that this is where my heart truly lies.

My approach

I find working with people enormously fascinating and inspiring and have great faith in their potential. I create an atmosphere in which people dare to be vulnerable and from there take steps to grow. I listen well, invite, challenge, hold up a mirror and take clear positions where necessary. People describe my style as empathic, energetic, enthusiastic, clear, practical, analytical, concrete, result-oriented and committed. Because of my professional background, I easily feel at home in different organisations and can relate well to different people at different levels.
